  • The answer is simple. To release iTunes for Linux, the source code would have to be revealed. If the source were revealed, the secrets would be gone. Then any developer could easily copy iTunes. The *nixes will eventually have something like iTunes anyway, since there are a lot of master reverse engineers in the *nix developer community. So, until then, *nixers have to run it in emulation mode, if they even want it. No biggie.

  • An apple two-button mouse actually seems like a good idea to me, since I started using a two-button mouse on my mac a year ago, and found it immensely useful. The main reason to have apple do this is so that it is sexy looking :) The third party mice out there now are ordinary looking. There are some other things I'd like to see change, but none of them are from Windows. ;-)

  • If one wants a cheap mac, the Yosemite G3 is available on ebay for very, very low prices. Basically, you are only paying for shipping with these computers. The only caveat is: make sure you are getting one with a Rev 2 motherboard. Go to lowendmac.com to learn more about that…
